Established in 1999, Granite by Design provides Granite and Engineered slab products to Builders, Homeowners, Remodelers, and Commercial Customers. While manufacturing takes place in Killeen, Granite by Design utilizes showrooms across Central Texas to service Bell, Burnet, Coryell, Falls, Lampasas, Milam, and McLennan County.
Granite by Design takes product from a slab to an installed project. Whether it is Natural Granite or Legacy Engineered Granite, we fabricate and install without the use of outside contractors. The technology behind slab fabrication has grown. This technology has created a better product at a greater value than just a few years ago. Granite by Design strives to update with emerging technologies.
In the process of fulfilling the growing counter top needs of the surrounding counties, Granite by Design has created a stockpile of remnants. Remnants are leftover pieces of granite that vary in color and movement from the new slabs coming in weekly. Remnants, or orphans, are generally sold at a discount and are suitable for table tops, bathroom vanities, kitchen islands, cutting boards, work tables and other small projects. Prices for remnants range from $10 a square foot for "as is" or $15 - $35 square foot for pieces made to your specifications. Sizes vary from 12" x 12" and smaller, to large pieces up to 25" x 110" and 50" x 50".
